With over a decade of experience in the film industry, Alexis Lancer is a seasoned professional known for her expertise in producing, production management, clearances, locations and the writers room. Her diverse skill set has been showcased through her recent role as line producer for a feature documentary titled, Wild Hollywood. The upcoming documentary explores wildlife in Hollywood today, also touching upon the fires that occurred in Los Angeles earlier this year. 

In addition to her current work, Alexis had the opportunity to work as a production coordinator for Nickelodeon TV shows and promotional content. She also had the privledge of managing several 30 minute Nickelodeon TV specials, encompassing both live action and animation formats. Her dedication to the Rock Paper Scissors Special contributed to the show’s success, launching as the #1 new animation series on cable.

Prior to her experience in children’s television and entertainment, Alexis lived in New York for 15 years and held prominent roles in the locations department, clearances and acted as support staff in two writers rooms – Law & Order: SVU (NBC) & MADtv (CW). Locations work was pivotal, emphasizing rapid problem-solving on set and securing locations aligned with the director’s vision while meeting crew logistical needs and exercising diplomacy as a liason between the company and community. Among her credits are acclaimed series such as Blindspot (NBC), Younger (TV Land), The Jim Gaffigan Show (TV Land) and the feature film, Blood Ties. 

In addition to her extensive professional experience, Alexis holds a degree from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and recently completed UCLA’s intensive program - The Art of Line Producing. She actively contributes to industry organizations, being a current member of the Producers Guild of America and former member of 817 Theatrical Teamsters.
