With over a decade of experience in the film industry, Alexis Lancer is a seasoned professional known for her expertise in production management, clearances, locations and the writers room. Her diverse skill set has been showcased through her recent role managing Nickelodeon TV specials, encompassing both live action and animation formats. Her dedication to the Rock Paper Scissors Special contributed to the show’s success, launching as the #1 new animation series on cable.

While also serving as a clearance producer for notable shows such as Nickelodeon’s Unfiltered and Group Chat with Annie & Jayden, Alexis meticulously ensured all creative elements were approved by BALA prior to production. 

Before her focus on children’s television and entertainment, Alexis lived in New York for 15 years and held prominent roles in the locations department, clearances and acted as support staff in two writers rooms – Law & Order: SVU (NBC) & MADtv (CW). Her tenure in locations was pivotal, emphasizing on rapid problem-solving on set and securing locations that aligned with directors visions while meeting crew logistical needs. Among her credits are acclaimed series such as Blindspot (NBC), Younger (TV Land), The Jim Gaffigan Show (TV Land) and the feature film, Blood Ties. 

In addition to her extensive professional experience, Alexis holds a degree from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and recently completed UCLA’s intensive program - The Art of Line Producing. She actively contributes to industry organizations, being a current member of the Producers Guild of America and former member of 817 Theatrical Teamsters.
